Pursuant to Subdivision 1 of § 405.00 of the Penal Law of the State of New York, the Mayor is hereby designated the "permit authority" to grant and issue permits for the public display of fireworks in accordance with the provisions of § 405.00 of the Penal Law.
The fee for permits for the public display of fireworks shall be as set from time to time by resolution of the Board of Trustees.[2]

Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter shall be punishable as provided in Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article II.
