96, Art. II, of the 1970 Code)]
Pursuant to law, there is authorized in the
Borough of Runnemede the conducting of games of chance, properly known
as "bingo," said conducting permitted to be carried on all days of
the week except Sunday. This article permitting the conducting of
such games has been duly adopted by the Borough Council of the Borough
of Runnemede.
Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 5:8-31, there is hereby
enacted municipal legislative authority to conduct aforesaid game
of chance known as "bingo" on the first day of the week, commonly
known and designated as "Sunday."
Pursuant to the above-referenced statutory authority,
the appropriate municipal authorities shall revise the license issued
for the holding, operating and conducting of such aforesaid game so
as to permit the conducting of such games on Sunday.
