All streets constructed in Adams Township shall comply with the standards hereinafter set forth in § 164-8.
Streets shall be constructed as follows:
A. 
Seven inches of No. 4 limestone or air-cooled blast furnace slag base course compacted to 95% maximum density with a three-and-one-half-inch crown at center line.
B. 
Three inches of No. 2A limestone or air-cooled blast furnace slag base course compacted to 95% maximum density with a three-and-one-half-inch crown at center line.
C. 
Three-inch I.D.-2 binder.
D. 
One-inch I.D.-2 wearing surface applied at time of initial paving.
E. 
Paving shall have a three-and-one-half-inch crown at center line.
F. 
One-inch I.D.-2 wearing surface applied as final wearing course to be applied in 24 months at 80% completion of building activity, whichever occurs first.
G. 
Road under drain shall be on both sides of the road. Under drain shall be in a trench 18 inches deep by 12 inches wide. Four-inch under drain piping shall be placed on two inches of 2B aggregate and the remaining trench filled to subgrade with 2B aggregate.
H. 
Wedge curb shall be six inches high by six inches on back face and 18 inches on front face.
I. 
The developer shall provide for random on-site sampling and testing of base and paving materials for each maximum 500 tons of material when requested by Adams Township. The cost of such sampling and testing to be done without cost to Adams Township.
J. 
A six-inch development stormwater drain shall be installed on the high side of all roads to accommodate house and yard drains. If storm sewer is located on the high side, house and yard drains shall be connected to it by using saddle connections. No surface discharge is permitted.
K. 
Catch basin frame and grate shall be Nina Model No. R-3572 or Type M Concrete Top, with bicycle safe grate or equivalent.
L. 
Precast catch basins must have factory-installed openings and be one piece construction. No pipe openings may be cut in the field. Depths over four feet shall have ladder rungs installed on either side. Weep holes shall be provided, under drain cutout shall be at appropriate depth so as to provide positive flow into catch basin.
M. 
Bottoms of catch basins and manholes shall be cemented so as to maintain a flow line to encourage self cleaning. All piping shall be flush with the side walls of catch basins and manholes.
N. 
Pipes shall be laid true and straight, except as otherwise approved by the Township.
O. 
There shall be no more than 400 feet between manholes and/or catch basins.
P. 
Minimum pipe size shall be 15 inches, except as otherwise required.
Q. 
Head and end walls are required on all pipes. Riprap shall be installed at all head and end walls as required by engineering design.
R. 
Geotextile material shall be required as determined by the Township Engineer.
All street rights-of-way shall be 50 feet in width and shall be paved a width of 22 feet in addition; there shall be a continuous eighteen-inch wedge curb on each side of the street pursuant to construction detail standards attached hereto and made a part hereof.[1]
