A certain document, three copies of which are on file in the Borough office, being marked and designated as the "International Property Maintenance Code, 2018 edition," and any amendments, as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the Property Maintenance Code of the Borough of Jersey Shore, in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, for regulating and governing the conditions and maintenance of all property, buildings and structures; by providing the standards for supplied utilities and facilities and other physical things and conditions essential to ensure that structures are safe, sanitary and fit for occupation and use; and the condemnation of buildings and structures unfit for human occupancy and use, and the demolition of such existing structures as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Property Maintenance Code on file in the offices Jersey Shore Borough are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this article, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in § 140-5 of this article.
The following sections are hereby revised:
A. 
Section 101.1. Insert: "The Borough of Jersey Shore."
B. 
Section 102.3. Delete "International Zoning Code" and replace it with "The Borough of Jersey Shore Zoning Ordinance."
C. 
Section 103.5. Insert: "Said fee schedule shall be adopted, from time to time, at the discretion of Borough Council."
D. 
Section 106.3. Delete "guilty of a misdemeanor or civil infraction" and replace with "guilty of a summary offense and be fined up to $1,000 or 90 days' imprisonment."
E. 
Section 107.2(5) shall be deleted.
F. 
Section 111 shall be deleted.
G. 
Section 302.4. Insert: "eight inches."
H. 
Section 302.8. Replace "no" inoperative or unlicensed vehicle with "one" inoperative or unlicensed vehicle.
I. 
Section 304.14. Insert: "April 15 through October 15."
J. 
Section 602.3. Insert: "365 days a year."
K. 
Section 602.4. Insert: "October 15 through April 15."
L. 
Section 605.2. Shall be deleted and replaced with the following:
605.2 Receptacles. Every habitable space in a dwelling shall contain at least two separate and remote receptacle outlets. Every laundry area shall contain at least one grounded-type receptacle. Every bathroom shall contain at least one receptacle. All bathroom receptacle outlets shall have ground-fault circuit-interrupter protection.
