It shall be unlawful for any tenant, occupant and/or owner of any land on any street in the Township where there is a sidewalk abutting said land to permit snow or sleet to remain upon said sidewalk for a period longer than 24 hours after said snow or sleet ceases to fall thereon.
It shall be unlawful for any person to shovel, plow or cause snow to be placed upon any sidewalk or any street within the township.

If the tenant, occupant or owner of any land on any street in the township where there is a sidewalk abutting said land permits or causes said snow or sleet to remain upon or to be put upon said sidewalk in violation of §§ 185-1 and 185-2, the township may cause such snow or sleet to be removed, and shall charge said tenant, occupant or owner with the cost thereof, together with a penalty as set from time to time by resolution of the Board of Supervisors, which cost and penalty shall be collected from the tenant or occupant or from the owner in the manner provided by law for the collection of municipal claims, or by action of assumpsit, provided that the recovery of said costs and penalty may be in addition to the penalty imposed as provided in § 185-8.
Every person engaged in any excavating or moving of earth, mud or stones in the township shall, at the end of each working day, remove all earth, mud and stones carried, spilled or tracked upon any improved street of the township.

No person shall place, cause to be placed, or knowingly allow to be placed any ashes, garbage, rubbish, grass, leaves or other offal in or upon any public street cartway or right of way.

No person shall place, cause to be placed or knowingly allow to be placed any obstruction in or upon any public Township street cartway. A legally and properly parked registered licensed and inspected motor vehicle shall not be considered an obstruction under this section.
The term "footwalk" as used in § 185-7 shall mean that portion of the highways of the township between the property line and the curbline where curbs are set, and where no curb is set, between the property line and the point of location of the curb when the said location is set.

The term "street cartway" as used in this article shall mean the area of a public street, road or alley used for vehicle traffic.
No person shall place, cause to be placed or knowingly allow to be placed, or remain or maintain upon the footwalks of any of the highways of the township any vehicle or obstruction.

This article shall be enforced by action brought before a District Justice in the same manner provided for the enforcement of summary offenses under the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure. Any person who violates or permits the violation of this article shall, upon conviction in a summary proceeding, be punishable by a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $1,000 or by imprisonment for a term not exceeding 90 days. Each day or portion thereof that such violation continues or is permitted to continue shall constitute a separate offense. Each section of this article that is violated shall also constitute a separate offense.
