The intent of this chapter is to establish a precise and detailed plan for the use of the land in the Borough based on its Master Plan and enacted in order to promote and to protect the public health, safety, morals, comfort, convenience and the general welfare of the people. The purposes of this chapter are those set forth under the zoning provisions of the Municipal Land Use Law, Chapter 291 of the Laws of 1975, N.J.S.A. 40:55D-1 et seq., as amended.
