This chapter shall be known and may be cited
as the "Water Use Law of the Village of Montgomery, New York."
The purpose of this chapter is to protect the
public health and environment and prevent nuisances by:
A.
Providing for maximum efficiency and effectiveness
in the construction, operation and maintenance of community water
systems and individual service lines within the Village of Montgomery.
B.
Providing uniform standards for water main and service
line materials within the Village.
C.
Regulating all community water systems and connections
thereto located within the Village, whether public or privately owned.
