The office of Deputy Borough Clerk of the Borough
of Chesilhurst be hereby created.
The appointee to such office shall have all
the powers of the Municipal Clerk and all the duties and functions
of the Municipal Clerk during the absence or disability of the Borough
Clerk or when the Borough Clerk fails to perform a duty as required
to do so.
The term of office shall be for three years,
unless a shorter term is decided by Mayor and Council at the time
when the appointment is made by resolution.
The compensation of the Deputy Borough Clerk
shall be determined by the Salary Ordinance which shall state the
exact amount.
