With the exception of outside cooking for human consumption, it shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to kindle, generate, start, support, spread, or maintain a fire of any kind, nature, or description whatsoever, in the open, for the purpose of trash, refuse, or yard trimmings incineration, or in a drum or other receptacle for any purpose.
Any person, firm, or corporation violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be subject to a fine not to exceed $2,000, or to imprisonment for a period not to exceed 90 days, or community service not exceeding 90 days, or a combination thereof. Each violation of any of the provisions of this chapter and each day the same shall continue to be violated shall constitute a separate, distinct offense.
