The office or the Deputy Tax Collector be hereby
created.
The appointee for such office shall have all
the powers of the Borough Tax Collector and all the duties and functions
of the Borough Tax Collector in the absence or disability of the Borough
Tax Collector or when the Borough Tax Collector fails to perform a
duty as required to do so.
The term of office shall be for three years
unless a shorter time is decided by Mayor and Council at the time
the appointment is made by resolution.
The compensation of the Deputy Borough Tax Collector
shall be determined by the Salary Ordinance which shall state the
exact amount.
