The owner of every property fronting upon or alongside of any of the streets in the Borough of Danville is hereby required to remove all snow and ice from all of the sidewalks in front of and/or alongside of such property within 24 hours after the same shall have ceased to fall or form. The owner of the property shall be responsible for conforming to the requirement of this section.
It shall be unlawful for any owner, occupant or tenant of any property within the Borough of Danville to throw or place snow upon the traveled portion of any street.

If any sidewalk in front of and/or alongside of any lot, land or real estate within the Borough of Danville is not cleared by the owner as directed in § 203-1 of this chapter, the Borough may cause the sidewalk to be cleared forthwith and to immediately report the cost and expense thereof to the Borough Council, and the charge shall be collected against the owner as other charges and assessments are by law collectible.

A. 
Any person who shall violate any provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be punishable by a fine of not more than $300.[1]

B. 
Any person who shall violate any provisions of this chapter shall upon conviction be punishable by fines as listed above and costs of such proceedings or, upon default of payment of such fines and costs, by imprisonment in the county jail for a term of not more than 30 days. The continuation of such violation for each successive day shall constitute a separate offense, and the person or persons allowing or permitting the continuation of the violation may be punished as provided above for each separate offense.
