The purpose of this article is to establish policies and procedures for the collection of fees associated with the performance of marriage or civil union ceremonies by the Mayor or Deputy Mayor.
A. 
Schedule of fees. Persons seeking to be married or joined in civil union by the Mayor or Deputy Mayor of Carneys Point Township shall remit the applicable fee delineated below to be paid to the Township of Carneys Point:

B. 
Receipt of fees. The fee shall be paid by check, payable to the Township of Carneys Point. Fees collected shall be deposited into the Township of Carneys Point's current fund.
C. 
Salary. Fees for service may be disbursed to the Mayor or Deputy Mayor as an additional annual fixed salary payment of $1,000, and as referenced in the Township of Carneys Point Salary Ordinance.[1]
