The Borough of Canonsburg shall continue to have three election
districts represented by three Councilmen from each election district.

Election District First shall be composed of all that territory
of the Borough lying to the east of the center of Peach Avenue and
lying to the east of the center line of West Avenue and shall be composed
of all of the territory of the Borough of Canonsburg lying to the
east of a line described as follows: beginning at a point where Cecil
Street is intersected by Brush Run; thence along the northwestern
side of Cecil Street to a point where Peach Avenue intersects Cecil
Street; thence along the center line of Peach Avenue to the center
line of West Avenue; thence along the center line of West Avenue to
the south side of Adams Avenue; thence along the south side of Adams
Avenue to the eastern boundary of property now or formerly known as
"Western Center" and to include the property of the Cecil Annex.
Election District Second shall be composed of all that territory
of the Borough lying to the west of the center line of North Central
Avenue and Ridge Avenue and lying to the north of Chartiers Creek.
Election District Third shall be composed of all of the territory
of the Borough of Canonsburg bounded on the west by the Second District
and on the east by the First District.

A.
Councilmen in office at the time of this change shall remain in office
until the expiration of the terms for which they have been elected.
However, their successors shall be elected to serve for a term of
four years as follows:

In the following municipal election, two Councilmen shall be elected
from the First District, one Councilman shall be elected from the
Second District and two Councilmen shall be elected from the Third
District. Said Councilmen shall serve for a period of four years from
the first Monday of January next succeeding their election.
