Every operator of a vehicle approaching an intersection at which an official traffic control device is erected in accordance with this article and Article
II of this chapter shall obey the direction of such official traffic control devices as required by the state statutes incorporated by reference in §
495-1. Operators of vehicles approaching a stop sign shall stop before entering a highway as required by § 346.46, Wis. Stats. Operators approaching intersections at which a yield sign has been installed shall yield the right-of-way to other vehicles as required by § 346.18(6), Wis. Stats.
In the interest of public safety, stop signs,
yield signs and other traffic controls shall be installed at such
locations on the highways over which the Town has exclusive jurisdiction
or the Town Board shall determine necessary.
