This article is enacted for the purpose of designating the boat
ramp which is the property of the Township, located on Dock Avenue,
commonly known as the "Municipal Boat Ramp." It is further intended
to establish who shall be entitled to utilize the ramp and to establish
guidelines and procedures for its use and penalties for unauthorized
use of said ramps.
The boat ramp located on Poplar Street off of Dock Avenue, Ocean
Township, New Jersey, shall hereinafter be known as the "Ocean Township
Municipal Boat Ramp."
The boat ramp may only be used by residents of Ocean Township
and their authorized guests.

As a prerequisite for the use of the boat ramp, the domiciliary
of Ocean Township shall request the issuance of two stickers from
the Ocean Township Police Department. The Police Department shall
cause to be issued two stickers, with one sticker to be placed on
the front bumper of the automobile intended to be parked in the area
of the boat ramp and one sticker to be affixed to the accompanying
trailer. Upon request, the Police Department shall issue placards
to guests of Ocean Township residents five times during the year.
The placard shall be prominently displayed in the vehicle of the authorized
guest. Each placard shall include an issuance and expiration date
for the length of the stay of the guest, which shall not exceed three
days. Only one placard shall be issued to a resident household at
any one time.
The parking of any automobile with a trailer or a detached trailer by an ineligible user is prohibited within the Township. All automobiles with a trailer or detached trailers, with or without a watercraft, shall be subject to the fines and penalties contained in §
150-29.
