Beginning on July 1, 2007, the homestead credit percentage within
the Town of Federalsburg for municipal taxes shall be set at 110%,
in order that the municipal property tax may not exceed 110% of the
preceding year.
A homeowner who meets the requirements of Maryland Code Annotated
Tax Property Article, § 9-105, shall be granted the homestead
property tax credit established by this article against the municipal
property taxes imposed upon the real property of the dwelling.
