The following transient vehicles and uses are authorized in the Village of Middleport:
A. 
Groups with six boats or more tied up along the wall of the Erie Canal may, for a period not to exceed two days, be accompanied by one recreational vehicle or travel trailer having capability of overnight sleeping with electricity. Any such vehicle which shall be connected to Village utilities, including public or private water, sewer or electricity, shall pay a fee to be established by the Village Board.
A. 
Except as set forth in § 187-1 above, no recreational vehicle, mobile home, trailer, tent or other mobile unit containing sleeping quarters shall be parked and occupied upon any street, alley, right-of-way, parking lot or any other public place while occupied for sleeping or eating purposes.
B. 
No recreational vehicle, mobile home, trailer, tent or other vehicle containing sleeping or eating accommodations shall be parked upon any street, alley, right-of-way, parking lot or any other public place, except that licensed vehicles may be parked upon streets and in parking lots, while unoccupied, in compliance with all other standing or parking regulations for periods not in excess of 12 hours, but in no case between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
C. 
No recreational vehicle, mobile home, trailer or other vehicle shall be occupied for living or sleeping purposes in the Village of Middleport upon private property, except as follows:
(1) 
One such vehicle may be occupied for sleeping and living purposes in a residential-zoned district on a premises upon which a residence is constructed, for a period not to exceed 72 hours, when the vehicle is occupied by individuals visiting the occupant of the principal residence.
A violation of this chapter is an offense punishable by a fine of not more than $250 or by imprisonment not to exceed 15 days or by both such find and imprisonment.
