The Village Board of the Village of Middleport finds that defraying
the cost to the Village for issuance of certain permits, reviews,
providing information and providing other Village services, will be
in the best interest of the health, safety and welfare of the citizens
and property of the Village, and to that end, a schedule of fees shall
be established.
This chapter shall be entitled the "Village of Middleport Fee
Schedule Law."
The Village Board shall, from time to time, establish fees for
permits, reviews, services, of any and all types in the Village, including,
but not limited to, building permits, inspections, applications, and
other services, reviews, inspections, and Village actions. Such fees
and fee schedule shall be established by Resolution of the Board of
Trustees without public hearing, except fees which must be established
after public hearing by law.
Except as otherwise provided by law, all fees shall be paid
prior to the provision of permits, reviews, provision of information
and performance of services covered thereby.
This chapter shall take effect immediately upon filing with
the Secretary of State.
