The Town of Putnam hereby adopts in its entirety the provisions
of Section 9-204b of the Connecticut General Statutes entitled "Optional
Alternative System for Towns with Four-Year Terms for Board of Education."
Notwithstanding the provisions of any General Statute to the contrary,
the Town adopts the provision of said section, which controls the
number of persons from any one political party who may be nominated,
voted for, and/or elected to the Board of Education of the Town of
Putnam.
