As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the
meanings indicated:
JUNKYARD
Any area, covered or uncovered, used for the purpose of buying,
selling, exchanging or storing old or secondhand metals, bottles,
glassware, tinware, paper, lumber, plumbing fixtures, dismantled or
inoperable automobiles or any other thing which is no longer used
or usable for its intended purpose but which may have value because
of the parts or materials it contains.
It shall be unlawful to operate or carry on the business of
a junkyard without having obtained a license therefor as is hereinafter
provided.
An application shall be made on a form provided by the Borough
Clerk.
The fee for such license shall be $300 per annum.
No license shall in any event be issued unless the occupant
has obtained a certificate of occupancy for the location to be used.

Any violation of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be punishable as provided in Chapter
1, Article
II, General Penalty, of the Code of the Borough of Wallington.
