[Adopted 5-13-1970 as Sec. 4-9 of the 1970 Revised General Ordinances (Ch. 281, Art. II, of the 1992 Code)]
No person shall obstruct the free and lawful passage of pedestrians and vehicles on the streets, highways or sidewalks of the Borough or any part thereof by placing thereon any vehicle, article or merchandise or wares, in a case or otherwise, or any packing boxes, barrels, signs or like structures, lumber, wood or other obstruction of any kind.
This article shall not apply to:
A. 
Obstructions for the purpose of transit or delivery for such time and in such manner as may be reasonably necessary for that purpose.
B. 
Receptacles for garbage, ashes or refuse lawfully placed on or in sidewalk areas for collections.
C. 
Obstructions for the purpose of building or construction and the occupation of such portion of the sidewalk, street or public place designated in a permit obtained for that purpose.[1]

A. 
Any violation of this article shall, upon conviction, be punishable as provided in Chapter 1, Article II, General Penalty, of the Code of the Borough of Wallington.[1]

B. 
Separate violation. Except as otherwise provided, every day that a violation shall continue shall be deemed a separate violation.
