A. 
Traffic control signals shall be installed and operated at the intersection of those streets described in Schedule I of this chapter.
B. 
The traffic signal installation shall be in accordance with the provisions of An Act Concerning Motor Vehicles and Traffic Regulations, Subtitle 1 of Title 39 of the New Jersey Statutes Annotated, and shall conform to the design and shall be maintained in operation as authorized by the Department of Transportation of the State of New Jersey.
A. 
The speed limit for both directions of traffic along the streets or parts thereof described in Schedule II of this chapter is hereby established at the rate of speed indicated.
B. 
Regulatory and warning signs shall be erected and maintained to effect the above-designated speed limits.
The streets or parts of streets described in Schedule III of this chapter are hereby designated as one-way streets in the direction indicated.
No person shall make a U-turn on any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule IV of this chapter.
No person shall make a turn of the kind designated (left, right, all) at any of the locations described in Schedule V of this chapter.
No person shall make a right turn when facing a steady red signal (stop indication) at any of the locations described in Schedule VI of this chapter.
The streets or parts of streets described in Schedule VII of this chapter are hereby designated as through streets. Stop signs shall be installed on the near right side of each street intersecting the through street, except where yield signs are provided for in the designations.
A. 
The Chief of Police shall have the power and right and may provide by regulation for the closing of any street located within the Borough or a portion thereof to motor vehicle traffic during specified hours on any day or days whenever he finds that such closing is necessary for the preservation of the public safety, health and welfare. The authority granted under this chapter provides, however, that no regulation adopted pursuant to the powers granted shall, except in case of emergency, become effective until it has been approved by the Commissioner of Transportation of the State of New Jersey. It is also provided that the Chief of Police shall report the exercise of the power granted hereunder to the Mayor and Borough Council, which shall have the right to rescind the actions of the Chief of Police.
B. 
The streets or parts of streets described in Schedule VIII of this chapter are hereby designated as school streets, and the Chief of Police may exercise his power to close them during certain hours and days.
C. 
The Chief of Police may designate and order the placing of appropriate signs in the above areas during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on school days.

The intersections described in Schedule IX of this chapter are hereby designated as stop intersections. Stop signs shall be installed as provided therein.
The intersections described in Schedule X of this chapter are hereby designated as yield intersections. Yield signs shall be installed as provided therein.
The lane locations described in Schedule XI of this chapter are hereby designated as lane use reservations, and traffic shall move only as indicated.
No-passing zones are hereby established and shall be maintained along those streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XII of this chapter as authorized by the New Jersey Department of Transportation in accordance with the sketch dated and numbered as indicated.
A. 
Trucks in excess of the gross weights indicated are hereby excluded from the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XIII of this chapter, except for:

(1) 
Vehicles picking up and delivering materials on such streets;
(2) 
Any two-axle vehicle when delivering home heating fuel;
(3) 
Any school transportation vehicle while transporting students;
(4) 
Municipal, emergency and public utility vehicles in the performance of official duties; and
(5) 
Any vehicle providing solid waste or recyclables removal services.
B. 
No person shall park a commercial motor vehicle or a vehicle classified as a livery vehicle on any street in the Borough between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
