No Township employee shall make use of a cell phone, personal
digital assistant, computer, or similar device while operating a Township
vehicle, including but not limited to automobiles, trucks, backhoes,
scrappers or any other type of motorized equipment or vehicle unless
the vehicle is safely parked at a location where the vehicle or equipment
presents no hazard to employees, the general public or to fellow employees.
Any violation of this policy will result in a written reprimand
to be placed in the offending employee's personnel file.
