A. 
No person shall, within the limits of the Township of Riverside:
(1) 
Be disorderly in any public omnibus, street, highway, thoroughfare or on any public sidewalk or in any store, restaurant or other public or quasi-public place or conveyance to the annoyance of any person or, being upon any public street, park or other public or quasi-public place, be so disorderly as to be unable to conduct himself/herself with due care for his/her safety or the safety of other persons.
(2) 
Obstruct any sidewalk, street, road, avenue or other public place or in or about any public or quasi-public building, schoolhouse, store or place of amusement, nor utter any loud and offensive or indecent language or make offensive remarks to any person or persons in any of the places mentioned in this subsection or, while passing along or being upon any such sidewalk, street, road, avenue or other public or private place, obstruct or interfere with any person or persons lawfully being upon any of the same.
(3) 
Operate or use any radio receiving set, phonograph or other sound-producing instrument, device or apparatus in such manner that the sound thereof shall annoy any person or persons or disturb the comfort, rest or repose of any person or persons.
(4) 
Permit, make or continue or cause to be permitted, made or continued any unnecessary noise which shall disturb the comfort, rest and repose of any person or persons being in his, her or their place of abode or at any public or private meeting or at church services.
(5) 
Throw or discard any tin cans, bottles, garbage, debris, junk or refuse of any kind whatsoever into the waters of any spring, pond, stream, lake, river or any other body of water or upon any public street or public place, or discharge any sewage or waste into said waters or places or any of them or pollute said waters or places in any manner.
(6) 
Keep or harbor any pet which shall disturb the neighborhood or create a public nuisance by excessive barking, whining, howling, or neglect or place, or allow to be placed, any pet upon the designated public fields or parks, or any portion of public property upon which athletic exercises are conducted.

(7) 
Place or cause to be placed any obstruction of any kind whatsoever in any stream, pond, spring or lake so as to interfere with the natural flow or change the course thereof in any manner whatsoever without first obtaining the necessary permit to do so.
(8) 
Throw any trash or rubbish, which shall include paper or posters, stones, sticks, glass, metal or any hard, dangerous or offensive substance, upon any sidewalk, street, highway or public or private place or at any car, vehicle, house, building, fence or person.
(9) 
Drive any vehicle over the public streets so loaded, driven or constructed that the contents or portions thereof shall spill, lean, fall or blow therefrom onto public or private property or streets.
(10) 
Appear on any street, road, avenue, park or other public place in a state of nudity, or make any indecent exposure of his or her person, or commit or do any lewd or indecent act or behave in a lewd or indecent manner.
(11) 
Disrobe in any automobile, truck or vehicle while the same is upon any parking place, street, road, avenue, park or other public place.
(12) 
Sell or offer to sell any indecent picture, book or thing, or exhibit or perform any indecent, immoral or lewd play or other representation.
(13) 
Keep or maintain a disorderly house or a house of ill fame, or allow or permit any house, shop, store or other building or structure owned or occupied by him or her to be used as a disorderly house or house of ill fame.
(14) 
Solicit, invite or in any manner suggest by word of mouth or any writing or other communication or by any device whatsoever any lewd, lascivious or other immoral act.
(15) 
Permit any house, shop, store or other building or structure owned or occupied by him or her to be frequented or resorted to by noisy, riotous or disorderly persons or by prostitutes, gamblers or vagrants.
(16) 
Maliciously or intentionally destroy, damage or injure any property, public or private.
(17) 
Cause or permit to be emitted any vile, offensive, obnoxious or nauseating odor that may be vile, offensive, obnoxious or nauseating to any person.
(18) 
Keep, possess or maintain any faro table, roulette wheel, equipment or supplies for lottery and numbers games or other games of chance, whether coin-operated or not, or other gambling device whatsoever, unless a license has been issued by the Township.

(19) 
Have in his or her possession or custody any automobile in his or her possession or custody, any ticket or tickets, slip or slips, paper or papers, document or documents or memoranda in any way pertaining to the business of a numbers game. The term "numbers game" as used in this subsection shall mean any betting on any number or sets or arrangements of numbers on or according to any plan or method whatsoever.
(20) 
Carry, without lawful authority, any revolver, pistol or other firearm or any air rifle or air pistol or other instrument of the kind known as a blackjack, sling shot, blowgun or similar device, billy club, sandbag, bludgeon, metal knuckles, dagger, dirk, dangerous knife, stiletto, bomb or other high explosive concealed in or about his or her clothes or person or in any portable vehicle, carriage, motorcycle or other vehicle.
(21) 
Have upon his or her person or in his or her possession any picklock, key, crow, jack, bit, tool or other implement with any intent to break and enter into any building.
(22) 
Participate in any practice, sport or exercise having tendency to annoy, disturb or frighten any person or persons on any sidewalk, street, road, park or other public or private place or having a tendency to annoy or frighten animals.
(23) 
Enter any building or any public or private lands and without lawful authority break, injure or deface such building or any part thereof or the fences, outhouses or other property belonging to or connected with such building or lands, or disturb the exercises of any public school, church or other place of public assemblage, or molest or give annoyance to children or persons attending such school or annoy any teachers therein or persons conducting such exercises.
(24) 
Hinder, prevent or deter in any manner or by any device whatever any fireman or other person from rendering lawful assistance in abating or quelling a fire, or hinder or interfere with any fireman going to or returning from any fire or place from which a fire alarm proceeds, or hinder or obstruct any fire engine, hook and ladder truck, hose cart or other fire apparatus going to or from any place from which a fire alarm proceeds or where any building or property may be burning.
(25) 
Hinder, obstruct, prevent or deter in any manner or by any device whatever any police vehicle, ambulance or emergency squad member or other person from rendering lawful assistance at any accident, disaster or other emergency, or any police, ambulance or emergency squad equipment while going to or from or attending at an accident, disaster or other emergency.
(26) 
Willfully and maliciously ring or sound or cause to be rung or sounded any bell, siren or other alarm of any fire, ambulance or emergency company or squad, and thereby or by any other means give or cause to be given a false alarm of fire or emergency.
(27) 
Enter upon or trespass upon the land or property of any other persons without lawful permission to do so.
(28) 
Leave or threaten to leave his or her minor child, children or other lawful dependent to be maintained by said Township or to become chargeable thereto.
(29) 
Keep or maintain any recycling buckets or trash cans within the front yard setbacks of any property or allow recycling buckets or trash cans to remain at the curbline in excess of 24 hours after collection.

(30) 
Pretend to use or have any skill in physiognomy, palmistry or like crafty science, or pretend to tell destinies or fortunes for pay or other reward.
(31) 
Remove, interfere with or disturb any lantern, warning signal, obstruction or barricade lawfully placed in or across any public street or alley by the public authority, its contractors, agents, servants or employees.
(32) 
Going about from door to door or placing ones self in streets, highways or passages to beg or solicit alms or charity, wandering abroad and beg or solicit charity under pretense of being or having been soldiers, marines or seafaring men, or of loss by fire or other casualty, or by war or other pretense or thing and wandering abroad and lodge in taverns, inns, beer houses, houses of entertainment, market houses, barns or other places, or in the open air, and not give a good account of themselves.
(33) 
Purposely or knowingly vandalize, deface or otherwise damage the real or personal, property of another by painting, writing, drawing or otherwise inscribing, in any fashion, graffiti. "Graffiti" shall include any form of painting, writing, drawing or inscription, regardless of content, which is placed on real or personal property without the express or implied permission of the owner of said property or public entity.
(34) 
Rioting, fighting or threatening violent or tumultuous behavior, creating a hazardous or physically dangerous condition by any act which serves no legitimate purpose of the actor or address in unreasonably loud and offensively coarse or abusive language in any public place or place to which the public is invited, with the purpose to offend the sensibilities of a hearer or in a reckless disregard of the probability of offending the sensibilities of a hearer.
(35) 
Sleeping upon any of the streets or highways or other public places in Riverside Township or in any motor vehicle or other type of vehicle upon any such place.
(36) 
Placing upon the front porch or lawn of any residence furniture not meant for an outdoor use, specifically couches or tables. Television shall be excluded.
(37) 
Causing to conduct a yard sale on any property other than on Saturdays and Sundays between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
(38) 
Placing any signs on telephone polls or removing any signs belonging to the Township from the public right-of-way.
(39) 
Keeping, possessing or maintaining any debris or items in the yard of any residence as to create a visible eye sore or public hazard or creating a nuisance upon any neighboring property and/or property owner that is incited by the failure to maintain one's own property.
B. 
All other riotous, indecent or disorderly conduct, breach of the peace and vagrancy not hereinabove specifically mentioned is hereby prohibited.
As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
PERSON
Wherever appropriate in connection with the context, includes corporation, partnership, association and individual and shall include the plural. The masculine pronoun shall include the feminine.
