No person shall operate a motor vehicle or tractor upon any sidewalk in the Township; nor shall any person operate a motor vehicle upon or across any sidewalk except in order to gain access to or egress from a driveway or alley at such locations where the curb, if such sidewalk is curbed, shall have been properly cut down for the purpose.

B. 
Penalties established. Any person who or which violates or fails to comply with any provision of this section shall, upon finding of violation by the Magisterial District Judge, be ordered to pay a fine that does not exceed $1,000 per violation and imprisonment to the extent allowed by law for the punishment of a summary offense. Such fine shall be in addition to any other fine which may be imposed under the provisions of any other ordinances of the Township, Pennsylvania law, or federal law.
C. 
North Huntingdon Township Police authorized to enforce. The North Huntingdon Township Board of Commissioners hereby authorizes the North Huntingdon Police Department to enforce the terms of this section and to issue the appropriate citation.
D. 
Authorization of warning signs. The North Huntingdon Township Board of Commissioners hereby authorizes the placement of signs stating "No Through Traffic" at the entrances of the townhouse parking lots at both Center Highway and Brownstown Road.

The following intersections are hereby established as yield-right-of-way intersections, and official yield signs shall be erected in such a position as to face traffic approaching the second-named highway from the first-named highway in the direction or directions hereby indicated. All vehicles and tractors approaching any such intersection upon the first-named highway, in the direction or directions hereby indicated, shall yield the right-of-way to any vehicle in the intersection or approaching on the second-named highway so closely as to constitute an immediate hazard during the time that the operator of such vehicle or tractor is moving across or within such intersection:

I. 
Any person convicted before any Magisterial District Judge of the Township of North Huntingdon of violating any of the provisions or requirements of this section shall, upon conviction before said Magisterial District Judge, be liable to a fine or penalty not exceeding $300 in any one particular instance, and costs of prosecution, for each and every offense and, in default of payment thereof, to undergo such other action as may be proper and legal by said Magisterial District Judge involved; and, if the offense is of a continuing nature, then a separate and distinct fine or penalty as set forth in § 518-34 shall be charged for each and every day that the offense continues and, in default of payment thereof, to undergo such further action as shall be proper and legal for the Magisterial District Judge to impose.[6]

It shall be unlawful for any person to operate any vehicle or tractor upon any highway in the Township that is under construction, resurfacing or repair, in disregard of any official sign, barricade or notice that the same is closed to vehicular traffic.
A. 
The following areas upon the highways in the Township are hereby established as play highways:

B. 
The Chief of Police is hereby authorized to designate as play highways, whenever he shall deem such action advisable and for whatever period of time directed by him, any portion of any other highway in the Township whereon sledding and coasting shall be permitted. Such highway shall be set apart for the purpose under the direction of the Board of Commissioners.
C. 
No person shall operate any motor vehicle or tractor upon any play highway at any time when such highway shall be so designated, except in case of emergency and with special permission of the Board of Commissioners or of the police officer in charge, who shall first clear such play highway of all persons using such highway for the purpose for which it was set aside.
The operator of any motor vehicle involved in an accident in the Township and required by law to report such accident to any department or agency of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, or any other person required to make such report, shall, at the time of making such report to the commonwealth, make a written report to the Chief of Police of the Township containing the same information.

It shall be unlawful for the operator of any vehicle traveling upon SR 30 at any of the following segments, in the direction or directions hereby indicated, and in this case specifically to use engine brake retarders as hereby indicated:
