[Adopted 2-12-1996 by Ord. No. 96-1]
Marlborough Township recognizes the importance and significance of real estate tax certifications to the smooth and effective flow of commerce within the local real estate market. Court decisions have held that the charging of fees for tax certifications in the absence of a municipal ordinance authorizing such fees would cause an elected official to violate the Public Official and Employee Ethics Act, 65 Pa.C.S.A. § 1101 et seq.
