Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:9-135, the office of Deputy Municipal
Clerk is hereby created.
The term of office shall be for one year, commencing on the
date of hire, with a sixty-day probationary period.
Said Deputy Municipal Clerk shall be appointed and approved
by vote of the Mayor and Township Committee.
Said Deputy Municipal Clerk shall receive a salary established
by the Township Committee.
In the absence or disability of the Municipal Clerk, the Deputy
Municipal Clerk shall have all the powers of the Municipal Clerk and
shall perform the functions and duties of such office.
