(a) 
No person shall operate, nor shall any owner of such vehicle permit to be operated, on the sidewalks of the Township any unlicensed motorcycle of the kind commonly called "minibike" or "trail-bike," or similar type, or any snowmobile or all-terrain vehicle, or any other unlicensed motor vehicle.
(b) 
No person shall operate, nor shall any owner of such vehicle permit to be operated, on any public or private ground in the township any unlicensed motorcycle of the kind commonly called "mini-bike" or "trail-bike," or similar type, or any snowmobile or all-terrain vehicle, or any other unlicensed motor vehicle, except when the permission of the owner of the land has been expressly obtained by such person.
(c) 
Prosecution under this section may be initiated by any citizen having personal knowledge of facts or events constituting an offense hereunder.

The following streets, or portions thereof as indicated, are constituted one-way streets as provided in the state vehicle code and vehicular traffic, other than in the direction indicated, is hereby prohibited:
Chestnut Street, from Ridge Pike south to Richardson Street.
Diamond Avenue, from Ridge Pike southwestwardly to Conshohocken Road.
Richardson Street, from Chestnut Street west to Ross Street.
Walnut Lane, from Sandy Hill Road on the south to Plymouth Boulevard on the north (northbound).

Operators of motor vehicles on the following streets, or portions thereof as indicated, shall not overtake or pass any vehicle proceeding in the same direction upon such streets between the points indicated:
Butler Pike, from the point of its intersection with North Lane to the point of its intersection with Cedar Grove Road, and from the point of its intersection with Ridge Pike to the point of its intersection with Germantown Pike.
Conshohocken Road, between station 62 + 00 and station 82 + 81, a distance of two thousand eighty-one (2,081) feet.
Ridge Pike, from a point six hundred fifty (650) feet southeast of the centerline of Chemical Road to a point one thousand nine hundred eighty-six (1,986) feet northwest of the centerline of Chemical Road; this restricted area is on the east side of Ridge Pike and shall apply to traffic going northwestwardly; and from the Norristown Borough Line to School Lane, a distance of two thousand six hundred (2,600) feet more or less.
Ridge Pike, from Alan Wood Road on the east to the Norristown Borough Line on the west.

(a) 
The following turning prohibitions shall apply in the Plymouth Township:
Germantown Pike. Southbound vehicular traffic on Germantown Pike shall be and hereby is prohibited from turning left opposite the intersection with Chemical Road into the driveway on the north side of Germantown Pike.
Narcissa Road. Southbound vehicular traffic on Narcissa Road shall be and hereby is prohibited from turning left at its intersection with Butler Pike.
(b) 
Any person who shall violate the foregoing provision shall, upon summary conviction before a justice of the peace, be liable to pay a fine of not more than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) and the costs of prosecution.

(a) 
The chief of police, or in his absence, the deputy chief of police under section 2-76(e)(2) of the Code, shall have the following powers to regulate traffic and parking temporarily and in time of emergency:
(1) 
In the case of fire, flood, storm or other emergency, to establish temporary traffic and/or parking regulations.
(2) 
In the case of emergency or to facilitate public works, or in the conduct of parades, processions or public events, to restrict or prohibit traffic and/or parking in limited areas for periods of not more than seventy-two (72) hours.
(b) 
Such temporary and emergency regulations shall be enforced by the police department in the same manner as permanent regulations. Any person who drives or parks a vehicle in violation of any such regulation or who shall move, remove, destroy, injure or deface any sign or marking erected, posted or made to give notice of any such regulation shall, upon conviction thereof, be liable to the penalties set forth in the law or elsewhere in the Plymouth Township Code.

Council may, from time to time by resolution, designate places upon and along the streets in the township where, for a period of not more than ninety (90) days, specific traffic and/or parking regulations, prohibitions and restrictions shall be in force and effect and shall designate those locations by proper signs and markings. Such regulations, prohibitions and restrictions shall be effective just as if they have been specified in this chapter. No person shall drive or park a vehicle in violation of any such regulation, prohibition or restriction, and no person shall move, remove, destroy or deface any sign or marking erected, posted or made by authority of this section. Any person who shall violate any provision of this section shall, upon conviction, be liable to pay the penalties set out in the law or elsewhere in the Plymouth Township Code. The purpose of this section is to allow for the test and experimental determination of the feasibility and desirability of permanent changes in the ordinances of the Township relative to motor vehicles and traffic.

(a) 
No person shall drive or move any truck or other vehicle within the Township unless such truck or vehicle is so constructed or loaded to prevent any of the load from dropping, sifting, leaking or otherwise escaping such vehicle upon any street, alley or other public place, nor shall any person drive or move any vehicle or truck within the Township, the wheels or tires of which carry onto or deposit in any street, alley or any other public place mud, dirt, sticky substances, litter or foreign matter of any kind.
(b) 
No person shall drive or move within the Township any open commercial vehicle or open tractor, trailer, tractor/tractor-trailer combination or dump truck without first having the same covered and any load contained therein covered and secured with a tarpaulin or other cover or top of a type to prevent any of the load from dropping, sifting, leaking or otherwise escaping, unless the load is so secured that no portion of the load can escape the vehicle.
