The driver of a motor vehicle shall not follow another vehicle
more closely than is reasonable and prudent, having due regard for
the speed of the vehicles and the traffic upon and conditions of the
street or highway. (ILCS Ch. 625, Act 5, § 11-710)
No person shall open the door of a vehicle on the side available
to moving traffic unless and until it is reasonably safe to do so,
and can be done without interfering with the movement of other traffic,
nor shall any person leave a door open on the side of a vehicle available
to moving traffic for a period of time longer than necessary to load
or unload passengers. (ILCS Ch. 625, Act 5, § 11-1407)
No person upon roller skates or riding in or by means of any
coaster, toy vehicle, skateboard, or similar device shall go upon
any roadway except while crossing a street on a crosswalk and except
upon streets set aside as play streets when authorized by the traffic
authority.
No person shall willfully and unnecessarily hinder, obstruct,
or delay, or willfully and unnecessarily attempt to delay, hinder,
or obstruct any other person in lawfully driving or traveling along
or upon any highway within this Village, or offer for barter or sale
merchandise on the highway so as to interfere with the effective movement
of traffic. (ILCS Ch. 625, Act 5, § 11-1416)
No person may drive a vehicle onto or from any controlled-access
highway except at entrances and exits established by public authority.

A person may not operate an electric personal assistive mobility
device upon a public sidewalk at a speed greater than eight miles
per hour. (625 ILCS 5/11-1412.2)
