The corner foundation is a symbol for the brick factories on Court Street; the trowel, celebrating the building of a Village with strength.
The old pumper and bucket is significant of the devoted citizenship alive in the Village at its beginnings and continuing up to the present time.
The four divisions represent the railroad tracks cutting through the Village, contributing to new families and prosperity.
The stylized leaf forms encompassing the images sing the spirit of a continuing new life of our Village.
