A. All of the
streets of the City of Clayton are hereby designated restricted local
traffic streets, where no person or persons shall operate a truck
or commercial vehicle in through travel, except for those trucks and
commercial vehicles making deliveries to or working at a property
on restricted streets. Such restriction shall not apply to permitted
trucks and commercial vehicles on the following streets or parts of
streets nor to trucks and commercial vehicles which have been given
previous written permission to do so by the City Traffic Engineer:
Big Bend Boulevard.
Brentwood Boulevard from Clayton Road to Maryland Avenue.
Clayton Road.
Hanley Road.
Maryland Avenue from west City limits to Hanley Road.
I-170 (Inner belt).
Shaw Park Drive from Hanley Road to Shaw Park Access.
B. Permitted
trucks and commercial vehicles do not include the following, which
require a permit:
1. All vehicles
which have a dump type bed.
2. All motorized
construction equipment.
3. All vehicles
that exceed either thirteen feet six inches (13 6") in height
or fifty-five (55) feet in length.
4. All vehicles
licensed for sixty thousand (60,000) pounds gross vehicle weight or
more.
