[Adopted 2-7-1972 as Sec. 4 of Ord. No. I of the Ordinances of the Town of Brentwood (Ch. 124 of the 1986 Code)]
No person, persons, firm, or corporation in the Town of Brentwood shall construct, improvise or utilize any privy, cesspool, septic tank or other means of sewage disposal not connected with the sanitary sewer system of the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission.
In locations where sewer connections are not available, the construction and utilization of other means of sewage disposal will be tolerated until such sewer connection becomes available; provided, however, that such construction and use has the approval of the health officials of Prince George’s County, together with the necessary permits.

No person or persons shall operate or maintain any trailer camp, site for camping or other temporary abode in a tourist cabin, tent, wagon, automobile or any other temporary or portable habitation without first providing and maintaining on such site, in a sanitary condition, adequate water facilities and an adequate number of toilets connected with the sewage system of the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission or without providing and maintaining garbage and trash removal service, which shall not be furnished by the Town of Brentwood except by special arrangement.
Nothing in this chapter shall be construed as giving permission to operate any trailer camp or tourist camp without having secured a license.
