The office of Code Enforcement Officer is hereby created. The Code Enforcement Officer may delegate to employees ministerial duties.

The Code Enforcement Officer is authorized and directed to carry out those duties set forth in Chapters 200, 205, 215, 230, 355, 400, 405, 410, 425, 500, 505 and 605.

During temporary absences or disability of the Code Enforcement Officer, the City Manager shall designate an acting Code Enforcement Officer.
