The Building Commissioner of the City of Shrewsbury is hereby designated the Zoning Administrator, and the office of the Building Commissioner shall also be designated the office of the Zoning Administrator.

A. 
The Zoning Administrator shall enforce this Title, and in addition thereto and in furtherance of said authority, shall:
1. 
Issue all Zoning Certificates and keep permanent records thereof.
2. 
Issue all Certificates of Occupancy and keep permanent records thereof.
3. 
Conduct such inspections of buildings, structures, and uses of land as are necessary to determine compliance with the terms of this Zoning Code.
4. 
Maintain permanent and current records of the Zoning Code, including all maps, amendments, special uses and variations.
5. 
Provide and maintain a public information bureau relative to all matters arising out of this Title.
6. 
Delegate performance of his/her duties to any appropriate officer or employee of the City.
