This Section supplements and adds to the personnel policies and regulations. To the extent that this Section on regulations are promulgated by the Mayor, City Administrator, or by the Chief of Police, under the authority of this Chapter, conflict with the provisions of the personnel policies and regulations of the City of Osage Beach, the personnel policies and regulations shall prevail.

A. 
The Chief of Police in order to respond to emergency situations, is authorized to use a City-owned motor vehicle for commuting to and from work and for other normal personal uses in the Lake of the Ozarks area as well as for official City business.
B. 
The Chief of Police is given the responsibility and authorization to assign, as deemed necessary, City vehicles to department members to ensure a fast response time, and to protect the integrity and safety of the community as he/she deems necessary.
C. 
The City expressly prohibits the use of the motor vehicles referred to in Subsection (B) for any recreational or personal trips.
