The names of the streets and house numbers of the City of Salem,
Missouri shall be as shown and designated on the plat on file in the
office of the City Clerk of the City of Salem, Missouri.

Streets that are obviously in alignment with others already
existing and named shall bear the name of the existing streets. The
proposed names of new streets shall be shown on the final plat and
such names shall not duplicate or sound similar to existing street
names. The City Building Inspector shall determine street names and
house numbers.
