Every operator of a vehicle approaching an intersection at which an official traffic control device is erected in accordance with this chapter shall obey the direction of such official traffic control device as required by the Wisconsin Statutes incorporated by reference in §
462-1 of this chapter. Operators of vehicles approaching a stop sign shall stop before entering a highway as required by § 346.46, Wis. Stats. Operators approaching intersections at which a yield sign has been installed shall yield the right-of-way to other vehicles as required by § 346.18(6), Wis. Stats.
In addition to the requirements of § 346.57, Wis.
Stats., the speed limit of State Highway 33 within the corporate limits
of the City shall be as follows:
A. Thirty-five miles per hour for all vehicles from its intersection
with Trenton Street northerly to its intersection with Cherry Street,
except that southbound traffic shall be 35 miles per hour for all
vehicles from its intersection with Cherry Street southerly to its
intersection with Point Road.
B. Twenty-five miles per hour for all vehicles from its intersection
with Cherry Street in the City northwesterly to a point 0.05 of a
mile east of its intersection with Weed Street.
C. Thirty-five miles per hour for all vehicles from a point 0.05 of
a mile east of its intersection with Weed Street in the City westerly
to a point 0.07 of a mile west of its intersection with Forest Street.
D. The speed limit on all other portions of State Highway 33 within
the corporate limits of the City shall be 55 miles per hour.
The following intersections in the City are designated four-way
arterial stops, and all traffic approaching such intersections from
any direction shall come to a complete stop before entering such intersections:
A. North
College and Hamilton Streets.
B. Third,
Academy and West Crocker Streets.

In the interest of public safety and pursuant to § 349.07, Wis. Stats., the following streets or portions thereof are declared to be through streets, and traffic signs or signals giving notice thereof shall be erected by the Chief of Police in accordance with §
462-3:

All vehicular traffic on any alleyway in the City of Fox Lake
shall only be allowed to travel in one direction as indicated by a
posted sign.
