Notwithstanding any other provision of this Chapter, any non-resident
shall be entitled to the use of the City's outdoor swimming pools
during the hours and days established by the administration on payment
of such fees as are established from time to time by the Mayor. Any
non-resident using the pool facilities shall be subject to all of
the rules and regulations prescribed for the use of pool facilities.

Any person using pool facilities shall be under the jurisdiction
of the pool management and shall be subject to all rules and regulations
posted in the pool areas.

Health and sanitary regulations provided by the City, County
and State Health Departments shall be followed.

Smoking is permitted in designated areas only by persons over
eighteen (18) years of age.

The general rules and regulations for use of the pools as determined
by the Park Director shall be posted.

Children under eight (8) years of age using pool facilities
must be accompanied by an adult twenty-one (21) years of age or older
or by a married person over the age of seventeen (17) years.

Suspension of swimming privileges may be imposed by the pool
manager for unruly behavior, for failure to cooperate with the reasonable
directions of the pool management or for violation of pool safety
rules.

The pool management will remove all swimmers from the pool while
it is raining or while thundershowers are prevalent and has the authority
to close the pools in the event of a prolonged rain.

When the temperature drops to seventy degrees Fahrenheit (70°F)
or below, the pool facilities may be closed to the general public;
however, closure to authorized groups will be left to their discretion.

Pool and the Florissant Aquatic Center may be used by the Florissant
Dog Park Club to allow dogs to swim the pools for a limited period
of time on an ad hoc basis upon the approval of the Director of Parks
and Recreation, subject to the following conditions:
1. Only dogs currently registered with the Florissant Dog Park Club
through the City of Florissant shall be permitted to use the swimming
pools;
2. There shall be no more than three (3) dogs per family that can swim
the pool;
3. Children under the age of ten (10) are not allowed to be in the pool
area;
4. Current vaccination records (rabies and DHLPP) from a licensed veterinarian
must be in the presence of the owner of the dogs for verification
by the City of Florissant or the Florissant Dog Park Club; and
5. All dog owners and guests must sign a waiver and pay the fees established
by the Florissant Dog Park Club prior to admission into the pool area.
