A. The
provisions of this Chapter, except as to safety and the manner of
constructing and affixing the sign to the premises, shall not apply
to the following uses of signs and advertising structures:
1. Changeable copy signs as permitted for use by places of worship,
schools or government buildings only.
2. Governmental signs including, but not limited to, public notices
and official notices posted or authorized by government officials
in the performance of their duties.
3. Signs for the control or direction of traffic and other appropriate
public purposes.
4. Variances granted by the Board of Adjustment in accordance with Chapter
405, Article
VII of the Frontenac Code.
