The Public Works Superintendent shall be responsible for the
Public Works Department and shall be responsible and account to Council
as the Public Works Committee shall determine. The Public Works Superintendent's
responsibilities and accountabilities shall include, but are not limited
to, the following:
(a) Accomplishment of road maintenance and other related tasks in a proper
and economical manner.
(b) Supervision and training of all public works employees.
(c) Maintenance of equipment.
(d) Control of departmental expenses.
(e) Maintenance of proper records and submission of required reports.
(f) Maintenance and service for buildings and properties.

All supervisory and laborer employees of the Public Works Department
are required to wear safety shoes. Each employee will be entitled
to receive reimbursement of not to exceed $100 annually for the purchase
of the same. Reimbursement will be approved by the Township Manager
upon receipt of proof of purchase.
