(a) 
All parking is prohibited in front of schools, churches, theaters, banks, hotels, gasoline filling stations and offices of physicians, but these restrictions shall be in force only when the premises in question are being regularly used for their proper purposes or when other days or hours are conspicuously posted. Vehicles may stop to load and unload in front of these premises, but they must give way to other vehicles arriving for the same purposes.
(b) 
No operator of a burden vehicle shall stop such vehicle on a highway in a business district nor obstruct any sidewalk for a longer time than is necessary to load or unload the same.
(c) 
No person shall park a vehicle on any highway for the purpose of selling the same, nor shall any vehicle be parked on a bridge, a bridge approach or in any underpass.
(d) 
Within the R-1, R-2, R-3, R-4, R-5 and R-6 Zoning Districts (as set forth in the Zoning Ordinance), overnight parking of vehicles (after 7:00 p.m. and before 7:00 a.m.) with a gross weight exceeding three tons or in excess of 20 feet in length is not permitted on a public roadway or in a driveway or other area within the front yard of a lot. This provision shall apply to boats, campers/recreational vehicles, trailers, trucks and other vehicles. Vehicles exceeding 20 feet in length or three tons (gross vehicle weight) shall be screened from view from neighboring properties.

Enforcement shall be by action brought before a district justice in the same manner provided for the enforcement of summary offenses under the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure.[1] Any person who violates any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of $20 or be imprisoned for not more than 30 days, or both. Any fine or levy shall be collectable, along with the cost of prosecution, by an action brought before the district justice of competent jurisdiction. The Township Council may amend the amount of the fine, not to exceed $1,000 per violation, from time to time by resolution. Each day or part thereof that the violation occurs shall constitute a separate offense.
