Every person operating a motor vehicle upon the streets of the
City of Lexington, Missouri, shall operate the same in a careful and
prudent manner, exercising the highest degree of care in the operation
thereof and shall operate such vehicle at a speed so as to not endanger
life or limb or property, and shall operate said vehicle at a speed
not in excess of 25 mph on all streets in the City of Lexington, Missouri,
except at the following locations where the speed limit shall be as
follows:

the City limits: 25 mph (unless otherwise posted).
B. School
Zones: 20 mph.
