A. There
is hereby created the office of Community Development Director the
holder of which shall be appointed by the Mayor on the recommendation
of the City Administrator and with the approval of the Board of Aldermen.
B. The
Community Development Director shall have such duties and responsibilities
as may be set out in writing by the City Administrator including,
but not limited to, the coordination and supervision of planning and
zoning and building and codes enforcement for the City.
C. The
City Administrator may appoint the Community Development Director
as the City Building Inspector and Codes Enforcement Officer.
