A.
The
office of City Engineer is hereby created to perform such engineering
services as may be required by the City. The functions of this office
may be performed by an independent contractor.
B.
The
Mayor with the consent and approval of the majority of the members
of the Board of Aldermen shall have the power to appoint a City Engineer.
