The following Schedule of fees is hereby established for birth,
marriage, death, civil union and domestic partnership certificates:
A.
Initial license and any additional licenses issued will be $15.

The purpose of this section is to establish policies and procedures
for the collection of fees associated with the performance of marriage
or civil union ceremonies by the Mayor.

A.
Collection of fees. Persons seeking to be married or joined in civil
union by the Mayor shall remit to the Mayor the applicable fee delineated
below to be paid to the City of Absecon the fee shall be paid by cash
or check made payable to the City of Absecon. Fees collected shall
be deposited into the City's current fund.
B.
Compensation.
(1)
Disbursement of fees. The fees for service may be distributed to
the Mayor through the budget line item and with appropriate authorization.
Upon receipt of the fees by the City the Mayor shall be paid through
the appropriate payroll account $50 for a ceremony performed within
the Absecon City limits and $100 for a ceremony performed outside
of the City limits. This payment is less applicable payroll deductions.
(2)
The balance of the collected fees shall be used by the City of Absecon
for the employer's share of payroll and any other administrative
expenses incurred as a result of the enactment of this section.
