Any person, or persons or corporation who desire to maintain
or operate a place commonly called a "Junk Yard",
or place where junk is collected, kept and stored, within the City
Limits of the City of Forsyth, shall before doing so first obtain
a license from the City of Forsyth, to be issued by the Clerk of the
City of the City of Forsyth, and signed by the Mayor of said City,
and the fee for said license shall be two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00)
per year, to be paid annually, from the 30th day of June on the year
which they are issued until the 30th day of June the following year.

Any place where wrecked automobiles are kept or stored in the
open, or where old automobiles as kept and dismantled to be torn apart
for parts and scrap or other items of junk are stored in the open
shall be deemed a "Junk Yard" under this Chapter.

Before a license shall be issued to any person, persons, or
corporation to operate and maintain a junk yard within the City Limits
of the City of Forsyth, such person, persons, or corporation shall
have an enclosure where said junk yard is to be operated and where
said junk is stored or kept and said enclosure shall be at least ten
(10) feet high, and shall be of solid construction, of either wood,
metal, concrete or other substance to make a solid enclosure, and
no license shall issue to any person, persons or corporation to operate
a junk yard in any part of the City Limits of the City of Forsyth,
which would not be in keeping with other businesses operated within
the same area.
