The St. Louis County Electrical, Mechanical and Plumbing Codes are hereby adopted as amended by St. Louis County on July 14, 2010 (County Ordinance 24439), July 14, 2010 (County Ordinance 24438) and July 14, 2010 (County Ordinance 24441), respectively, as if fully set out herein.

The City Manager on behalf of the Council of the City of St. John, Missouri, is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with St. Louis County, Missouri, for the enforcement of the Mechanical, Building (as pertains to elevators only), Electrical, Explosives and Plumbing Codes of the City of St. John. A copy of said agreement is on file in the City offices.

All fees for permits and inspections as stated above shall be collected by the Office of Public Works of St. Louis County, Missouri.

Any person, firm or business entity who shall violate any of the provisions of this Chapter shall, upon conviction be fined an amount not to exceed one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) for each violation, or imprisonment for ninety (90) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Each day such violation exists shall be a separate offense.
