All violations of municipal ordinances of the City of LaGrange, Missouri, shall be heard and determined by the Associate Circuit Judge of Lewis County, Missouri, as provided by Section 479.040, RSMo.

A. 
Basic Court Costs. Court costs in the amount of twelve dollars ($12.00) shall be assessed in each case for each municipal ordinance violation case filed before the Municipal Judge of the City of LaGrange, Missouri, and in the event the defendant pleads guilty or is found guilty, the Judge may assess costs against the defendant except in those cases where the defendant is found by the Judge to be indigent and unable to pay the costs.

The costs authorized by this Section are in addition to the service costs, witness fees and jail costs that may otherwise be authorized to be assessed.

All such costs shall be collected by the Municipal Clerk and disbursed as provided in Subsection (1) of Section 479.080, RSMo.
B. 
Police Training Fee. There shall be assessed as costs in each case for each municipal ordinance violation filed before the Municipal Judge of the City of LaGrange, Missouri, except in any proceeding in any Court when the proceeding or defendant has been dismissed by the Court, a fee of two dollars ($2.00) to pay for the training required for municipal Police Officers as provided in Sections 488.5336, RSMo., and one dollar ($1.00) to be assessed as costs pursuant to Section 488.5336, RSMo., and sent to the State Treasury to the credit of the Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission Fund created in Section 590.178 RSMo.
C. 
Crime Victims’ Compensation Fund Fee. There shall be assessed as costs for each case for each municipal ordinance violation, except in any proceedings when the defendant has been dismissed by the Court, or when costs are to be paid by the State, County or municipality on behalf of an indigent defendant, filed before the Municipal Judge of the City of LaGrange, Missouri, a fee of seven dollars fifty cents ($7.50) to be transferred to the “Crime Victims’ Compensation Fund” as provided in Section 595.045.3, RSMo.
D. 
Domestic Violence Shelter Fee. There shall be assessed as costs for each case for each municipal ordinance violation, except in any proceedings when the defendant has been dismissed by the Court, or when costs are to be paid by the State, County or Municipality on behalf of an indigent defendant, filed before the Municipal Judge of the City of LaGrange, Missouri, a fee of four dollars ($4.00) to be disbursed by the City at least monthly to the shelter serving victims of domestic violence for the City.
E. 
Recoupment Of Funds For Certain Offenses. The Court may order the recoupment of costs itemized below as authorized under Section 488.5334, RSMo., and City Code for any municipal ordinances involving alcohol- or drug-related traffic offenses. Such costs shall include in addition to the imposition of any penalties provided by law, the defendant to reimburse the State or local law enforcement agency which made the arrest for the costs associated with such arrest. Such costs may include the reasonable cost of making arrest, including the cost of any chemical test made under Chapter 577, RSMo., to determine the alcohol or drug content of the person’s blood, and the costs of processing, charging, booking and holding such person in custody. The State and each local law enforcement agency may establish a schedule of such costs; however, the court may order the costs reduced if it determines that the costs are excessive.
F. 
Court Automation Fund Fee. A fee in the amount of seven dollars ($7.00) shall be assessed for each municipal ordinance violation case filed before the Municipal Judge of the City of Lagrange, Missouri, and in the event the defendant pleads guilty or is found guilty, the Judge shall assess costs against the defendant except in those cases where the defendant is found by the Judge to be indigent and unable to pay the costs. Said fee shall be collected and transmitted monthly to the Missouri Director of Revenue to the credit of the Missouri Statewide Court Automation Fund.
