It is the purpose of this article to repeal the residency requirements
of Town Law § 23 and § 3 of the Public Officers
Law, which states that the Deputy Town Attorney of the Town of Pound
Ridge must be a resident and elector within the Town of Pound Ridge.
This article is enacted pursuant to the provisions of § 10
of Municipal Home Rule Law.
The title of the chapter shall be "Residency Requirements for
the Deputy Town Attorney."
The Deputy Town Attorney of the Town of Pound Ridge need not
be a resident and elector within the Town of Pound Ridge.
