As a matter of policy, the Town of Conway places street signs
on all public roads for the purpose of maintaining the general order
of the community and for the purpose of providing direction for public
safety response. Within the Town of Conway there also exist private
streets requiring street signs for these same purposes. Because the
owners of homes and property along these private streets are also
property tax payers, it shall be Town policy to pay for the replacement
of existing signs and for the erection of new signs on private streets
and roads to the extent allowed by annual budgetary constraints.
